7th Annual Summer Games

The Summer Games is a fun and interactive way to build closeness and team work amongst members of the local activist community. Kids from ages 7 and up will team up with adults to journey across this health and fitness adventure. A three month long challenge where teams will compete to earn points through exercise and healthy eating.

March 20th 2019 to June 22nd 2019

From the Spring Equinox to the Summer Solstice

Opening Ceremony March 20th 2019

Spring Equinox! March 20th 2019, we will pick teams, name our team captains, choose a name our team and begin the Summer Games. Only players that have participated in previous Summer Games events can be a captain.

Closing Ceremony June 22nd 2019

Summer Solstice! June 22nd 2019, we will feast on nutritious food, celebrate our accomplishments, run through obstacle courses, and play soccer.

During the closing ceremony, the winner of the Summer Games will be revealed.

Closing Ceremony Contests

On the closing day, we will have contest that will give participants an opportunity to compete in a few fitness challenges. The contests are as follows:

  • 1 Mile Race 
  • Pushup Contest
  • Plank Contest

$25 Participation Fee - $10 Spectator Fee

Participation fee includes t-shirt, a team assessment, participation prize and invitations to our opening and closing ceremony. 

Spectator Fee allows non participants to watch and cheer on family and friends.

Sunday to Sunday Bonus

1 week bonus opportunity 

If you can complete these various exercises in 1 week, you will gain an extra points:

  • 7 miles
  • 500 push ups
  • 500 sit ups 
  • 100 pull ups 
  • 250 crunches 
  • 250 squats 

Healthy Eating

 A day of healthy eating (meaning nothing processed) doubles your points for that day. For example if you eat healthy foods all day and do 10 pushups, instead of earning 1 point, you'll earn 2 points. If you maintain four weeks of healthy eating, your points are doubled. If you complete 4 weeks in a row, on the start of the 5th week, your points are quadrupled for each day after. For example if you did 10 push ups, you'll get 4 points. Your points stay this way until you eat something not so healthy.
